SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Police detained two perpetrators over a fire that burned a large section of Goizha Mountain in Sulaimani city last month, a senior police official said on Sunday.
Director of Police Directorate in Sulaimani Aso Sheikh Taha told Esta Media Network that the two suspects had confessed to the crime.
“Investigation is ongoing,” the official said.
A large fire burned a huge section of Goizha Mountain on September 4. There were no casualties, but a number of trees were damages in the fire.
