Arms depot belonging to Peshmerga explodes in Sulaimani: official

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — A fire broke out in an arms depot belonging to the Peshmerga forces in Sulaimani on Sunday, an official told Esta Media Network.

Head of Peshmerga’s 70th Unit press office Ahmed Latif said the cause of the fire erupted in an arms depot in Tasluja area was still unknown.

“The depot is belonging to our forces and exploded this morning,” Latif added. “There is ammunition stored in the depot and we are trying to extinguish the fire.”

The official further said there were no casualties in fire.
