SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on Tuesday announced the public holidays to mark Eid al-Fitr, according to a statement.
“On the occasion of the holy Ramadan feast, from Thursday, 20 April 2023 until 24 April 2023 will be public holidays in all government institutions,” KRG’s Department of Media and Information said.
The official working hours in all government institutions will resume on Tuesday, the 25th of April.
Eid al-Fitr is on Friday when Muslims around the world celebrate the end of one month of fasting and prayers.
