SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) President Bafel on Wednesday welcomed President of Federal Supreme Judicial Council Faeq Zaidan.
In a meeting, attended by a number of party officials and the Iraqi Minister of Environment, the latest political developments were discussed, a statement from Talabani’s office read.
In the meantime, the two officials stressed preserving stability and law enforcement, the office added in the statement.
Moreover, during the meeting, the PUK President reiterated his full support for passing the obstacles and developing the state’s institutions for further service.
“We support all legal and constitutional decisions of the Supreme Judicial Council in order to combat corruption and the rule of law in the country,” the PUK President stated, according to the statement.
