SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Kurdistan Region Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani on Thursday released a message, congratulating all Muslims on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
Talabani extended his deepest congratulations to all Muslims across the globe, particularly in Kurdistan on the occasion of the holy Ramadan feast, according to a message released by his press office.
“Heartfelt congratulations to worldwide Muslims, especially in Kurdistan,” He said.
“Despite the religious dimension of this occasion, Eid al-Fitr is part of the Kurdish culture and tradition which is a golden opportunity to strengthen the spirit of tolerance and absolve each other and express joy and happiness,” He added.
“In the meantime, the occasion is also an opportunity to strengthen the pillars of coexistence.”
He further hoped that the occasion would re-occur in joy and happiness every year, concluding his message by saying, “May god accept all your worships and prayers.”
