Pakistan and Iran reestablished contact

SULAIMANI – (ESTA) Following a flare-up last week in which multiple missiles were fired at each other, Iran and Pakistan have decided to restore diplomatic ties.

After speaking over the phone, Pakistani Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian decided that their embassies will resume work on Friday.

On November 29, the Iranian foreign minister will travel to Pakistan at the invitation of the Pakistani counterpart.
