SULAIMANI – (ESTA) The thunderous sound from the incident could be heard in Choman, Rawandz, Khalifan, and several other areas around Erbil. It happened on the road to Pirmam, Esta Media reporter said.
“At 11:30 pm on December 15-16, 2024, several ballistic missiles bombed several civilian areas of Erbil, according to preliminary statistics, four civilians were killed and six others wounded,” the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Security Council stated.
The United States strongly condemns Iran’s attacks in Erbil today and offers condolences to the families of those who were killed. We oppose Iran’s reckless missile strikes, which undermine Iraq’s stability.
