SULAIMANI – (ESTA) In a condolence letter addressed to the family of the deceased, the PUK president said, “The death of Lala Sarhad Khalifa Younis, a prominent figure of the Jaff tribe and the head of the Roghzai tribe, I am deeply saddened”.
“I extend my deepest condolences to Salar Sarhad, a member of the leadership, sons, relatives and proud family of Lala Sarhad,” stated Bafel Jalal Talabani, president of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).
Also, he added “Lala Sarhad was a well-known and significant social figure among our people; his guest room was always available for the benefit of the public and the people, and his descendants have been instrumental in our people’s struggle and revolution”.
“I ask God to grant the deceased peace in Paradise and patience to everyone,” he said.
Lala Sarhad Khalifa Younis, the chief of the Roghzai Jaf tribe, passed away at the age 92, he was a well-known and significant social figure in Kurdistan Region.
