PUK holds its 5th congress in Sulaimani

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The 5th Congress of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) commenced in Sulaimani.

According to Talar Latif, the spokesman for the congress, the event started at 11 a.m. today and was attended by representatives of political parties and consulates.

In the second part of the assembly, the congress program will begin with a focus on “modernity in work”, “decision-making through consensus,” and the appointment of committees that will start working towards achieving these goals, she added.

The 5th Congress of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) is expected to be a significant event for the party that taking place in the Talary Hunar Great Hall and attended by 600 members of the party.

The congress is scheduled to last for three days, during which members will discuss various issues related to the party’s policies and strategies.

The event is also expected to feature speeches by the party’s leaders, providing valuable insight into the party’s current and future plans.
