Iraq is keen to develop bilateral relations with Saudi Arabia: PM

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Iraq is keen to develop bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, said Prim Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani on Saturday.

The Prime Minister received in Baghdad the Saudi Minister of Transport, Saleh al-Jasser, and affirmed keenness to develop ties with neighbouring Saudi Arabia, according to the State news agency (INA).

The Prime Minister further stressed the importance of integration between the countries of the region in the economic, investment, and industrial aspects.

He also praised the successes achieved by the Coordinating Council between Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the constructive steps it took in the direction of developing relations between the two countries.
