Kurdistan Anti-Drug Agency says it had arrested ‘dangerous’ gang

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Kurdistan Region Directorate of Anti-Drug on Monday announced it had arrested a “dangerous” narcotic gang, without specifying the location.

“After collecting precise information and taking the legal measures, the Directorate of Anti-Drug arrested a dangerous narcotic gang,” it said in a statement.

“Among the arrested gang two big drug dealers were included,” it added.

It further stated that it had seized 3.5 Kilograms of narcotic substances which were Heroin and Methamphetamine.

The statement did not offer additional details, and not elaborated on the location where the gang has been arrested.
