SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Local authorities in Erbil on Thursday announced they had shut down eight gas stations over selling low-quality fuel.

The closure came after it found out the gas stations had sold low-quality fuel and violated the instructions, said Erbil mayor Nabaz Ahmed.

Ahmed further stated they had examined fuel samples in 48 gas stations in Erbil during the previous five days.
