PUK President calls on security forces to bring outlaws to justice, fight disorder

“Bring the outlaws to justice and go against any disorder,” the PUK President tells the security forces.

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Bafel Talabani, on Sunday paid a visit to the Kurdistan security service forces at the headquarters of command forces in Sulaimani.

“During his visit, President Talabani explored the intense training and implementing the forces’ mission,” read a statement from Talabani’s media office, adding he praised the continued efforts of the security service and operation forces in protecting the Kurdistan Region’s stability and people’s lives.

Speaking on the security service forces’ endeavors to protect security and the rule of law the PUK president called for encountering any plots and threats that jeopardize the lives of the people.

“It’s your duty to secure tranquility for the people,” Talabani told the operation forces of the Kurdistan security service amid his visit, according to the statement.

Moreover, Talabani reiterated his support to the security forces to hand the outlaws to the judiciary, saying “Bring the outlaws to justice and go against any disorder, and we will support you.”
