SULAIMANI (ESTA) — A teenager was arrested in Erbil on Wednesday allegedly charged with stabbing his classmate, according to a statement.
“Emergency department of police arrested 16-year-old suspect in an English school in Erbil who had stabbed his classmate and seriously injured him,” The directorate of police in a statement said.
It also added that the suspect has been jailed by the judge’s decision as per punishment laws and further investigations have been initiated by police into the incident.
The police statement did not offer further details.
