Kurdistan Region Deputy Prime Minister meets top diplomats in Erbil

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Kurdistan Region Deputy Prime Minister on Tuesday carried out a sequence diplomatic meeting in Erbil, a statement from his office said.

Deputy Primer Qubad Talabani in the Kurdistan Region capital met with top diplomatic officials, it said.

Talabani met the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy and the Pakistani Ambassador.

The official has also met Britain’s Consul General David Hunt, according to the statement.

The statement did not further specify any details about the meetings.

However, it came after his participation in The Middle East Research Institute (MERI) forum during which Talabani addressed local and international leaders and experts about the various political, economic, and challenges currently facing the Region.

Esta Media Network has learned that Talabani separately on Wednesday amid the continuation of his diplomatic meetings welcomed the Ambassadors of the U.S. and Russia as well as India.
