SULAIMANI (ESTA) — A drone bombed the foothills of Asos Mountain in the Kurdistan Region on Friday, a local official said.
Mayor of Mawat district Kamaran Hassan said Kwerakani area in the foothills of Asos mountain was bombed by a drone at 10:10 a.m. on Friday.
Casualties and damages remained unclear, Hassan told Esta Media Network.
“We think the drone belonged to Turkey as those areas were bombed by Turkey in the past,” he said.
The official refuted claims that an apartment was bombed, saying “the rumors are baseless”.
