SULIMANI – (ESTA) Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), welcomed a delegation from the Nineveh Provincial Council in Dabashan.
The meeting discussed the coordination between all parties and the unification of efforts to serve and rebuild the region، emphasizing more cooperation and joint work among all parties in order to achieve a more stable future and avoid any nervousness that harms the situation in the province.
President Talabani congratulated the members of the provincial council for choosing the legal and correct way for administrative changes and said that “protecting the rights of the winning parties in the province was an important step towards protecting the diversity in Nineveh. The PUK supports any effort aimed at serving the people and rebuilding the region.”.
During the meeting, the PUK president said that “the new composition of the council represents the true people and reflects the wishes of the residents; the understanding and coordination between the parties that have been created to manage the province is pleasant، and we support it.”.
