SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Two militants of the Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) were killed on Saturday in the Kurdistan Region’s Sulaimani province.
According to the Erbil-based Kurdish Counter-Terrorism Unit, a Turkish drone strike today targeted a group of PKK militants near Mawat, north of Sulaimani province.
“Two PKK militants were killed and another injured as a result,” it said in a statement.
