SULAIMANI (ESTA) — At least one was killed and three others were injured after a devastating gas tank explosion in Kalar district, south of the Sulaimani province, on Monday.
Earlier this morning, a gas tank in the Kalar industrial complex caught fire while using a forge burner near the vicinity of the tank and resulted in a devastating explosion, according to information obtained by Esta Media Network reporter.
“At least one was killed and three others were injured. There is a devastated scene and huge material damage,” The reporter said.
In the meantime, the Directorate of Garmian Police confirmed that a 29-year-old craftsman named Aryan Ibrahim Mahmood died due to the incident.
The injured has been transferred to the city of Sulaimani to receive further treatment, the reporter added.
