SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Six members of Islamic State (ISIS) were killed in a Coalition air strike in Kirkuk province, the Iraqi military said on Sunday.

On Saturday, the Iraqi army said a Coalition aircraft destroyed five ISIS hideouts in Makhoul Mountain range in Saladin province.
Last week, the Iraqi military said five ISIS militants were killed in Coalition air strikes in the foothill of Makhoul mountain range.
Six other ISIS militants were killed by the Iraqi counter-terrorism forces and the Coalition forces in Makhmour district on Nov. 30.
Iraq declared victory over Islamic State in December 2017 but the militants have regrouped in the Hamrin mountain range which extends into the northern provinces – an area described by officials as a “triangle of death”.
