SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Esta Media Network stands with journalist Ayub Warte who was detained after an arrest warrant was issued by the Erbil court on Monday.
Journalist Ayub Warte used to work for Esta Media network previously, he has been arrested over media-related work inside the agency that he recruited for currently, following an arrest warrant which was issued by Erbil’s court.
“Esta fully stands with Warte and demands immediate release from prison”.
We are also concerned about Erbil’s court procedures that dealt with Warte’s case in contrast to the Kurdistan Region journalism law, yet he has been ‘handcuffed’.
