National Iraqi News Agency reported that a convoy transporting logistical support for the Coalition forces was targeted near al-Musayyib area in Babil, without providing further details.
The Iraqi government or the Coalition has yet to confirm the attack.
The attack is the latest in a series of attacks on convoys supplying the Coalition forces, training the Iraqi security forces to fight Islamic State (ISIS) militants in the country.
