The IHEC revealed the number of violations and campaign complaints

SULAIMANI – (ESTA) Jumana Al-Ghalai, the spokeswoman for the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC), told Esta Media Network that “34 violations of political parties’ campaigns and 44 complaints have been registered by the commission’s central committee.”.

According to the election law, candidates, parties and coalitions must remove all posters and advertisements within 30 days after election day.

She said that “if the political parties do not remove the posters and advertisements within 10 days, the municipality will do so, but the political parties must bear the cost.”.

Special voting will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, and general voting will be held on October 20, 2024, for the sixth session of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).
