SULAIMANI – (ESTA) Bafel Jalal Talabani, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), during the second carnival of the PUK’s List 129 in Halabja, challenged Prime Minister Masrour Barzani to a debate.
The PUK president in his speech said, “The PUK will do what it says; I will do what I say; you know me well; if I promise you to make Wahab Halabjaey the governor of Barzan, I will do it.”.
“Be sure that with the support of God and the voters of Kurdistan, we will end this ugly authoritarian regime. The only party that is fighting for the Kurdistan Region and all four parts of Kurdistan is the PUK and Mam Jalal’s party,” president Talabani said.
Also, he said, “We own land, water and oil; ask yourselves, was the situation in Kurdistan, right? What we can do is end the power that has been with one party or one family for 17 and a half years out of 19 years.”.
At the end of his speech, the UK president challenged Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and said, “I challenge Masrour Barzani; first of all, they say people will not vote. Let’s do something so that everyone can vote. I am waiting for an answer from Mr. Masrour. I repeat, I challenge you.”.
