SULAIMANI – (ESTA) Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met James Goldman, British Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, at Dabashan.
In a meeting, Dr. Yousef Goran and Dr. Jawan Ihsan, members of the Political Bureau of the PUK, and Dara Khaylani, head of the Relations Board, were attended. The continuation of the talks between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq to resolve political and financial issues, especially the issue of salaried employees of the region, was emphasized.
The PUK president said, “The PUK should work in accordance with the constitution and become the basis for resolving the issues; in this context, good results have been achieved so that the salaried employees of the region are no longer victims of political conflicts.”.
