Drone Strike Hit Iran-backed militia headquarters in Baghdad

SULAIMANI –(ESTA) Two rockets struck a building in eastern Baghdad on Thursday and at least three Gunmen were killed, and six others wounded, according to police sources told Reuters.

Iraq contempt the US-led international coalition on Thursday for carrying out a lethal drone attack that claimed three lives at a Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) facility in eastern Baghdad. The attack was described as a “blatant violation of sovereignty.”

“In a blatant violation of Iraqi sovereignty and security, a drone targeted a security headquarters in Baghdad, killing several people.” Yahya Rasul, spokesman for the commander-in-chief of the Iraqi armed forces, said.
