SULAIMANI – (Esta) During their meeting in Baghdad, the president of PUK urged the State of Law Coalition leader to keep employee pay and regional financial entitlements separate from political disputes.
Bafel Jalal Talabani, Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) president with Nouri al-Maliki, the leader of State of Law Coalition in Baghdad, the focus of the meeting was on how the two sides should continue to build their historical and common links in order to coordinate efforts, resolve conflicts, and uphold national stability.
The gathering also reiterated the continuation of constructive national discussion among the state administration coalition’s parties to accomplish government goals, expand services, and settle disputes, particularly those pertaining to the Kurdistan Region’s relations with Baghdad.
Additionally, the PUK leader demanded that people’s lives be protected and that the region’s financial entitlements and employee pay remain separate from conflicts.
“PUK fully supports the holding of fair elections on schedule, especially in Kirkuk, because the situation in the city has its own characteristics and needs administrative changes and more services” The PUK President said in the meeting.
