SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani on an official visit arrived in Cairo, and met with President Abdel-Fatah Sisi on Tuesday, his press office said.
Sudani and Sisi discussed Iraq-Egypt bilateral ties, including regional and international issues relating to both nations, according to a statement released by Sudani’s office.
“They emphasized sustaining mutual cooperation, as well as enhancing collaborations to address challenges and crises,” the statement said.
In the meantime, Sisi highlighted the deep brotherly ties between the two nations, expressing appreciation for Iraq’s contributions to fostering regional stability and security, according to the statement.
Sisi also conveyed Egypt’s eagerness to broaden the scope of cooperation with Iraq across diverse domains, aiming for a long-term partnership that advances the development and prosperity of all friendly nations.
