SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Kurdistan Security Forces on Wednesday announced the arrest of a suspect over terror-related charges in Halabja province.
The suspect was an Iraqi national and wanted by a court in the central province of Anbar. He had fled to Halabaja, Kurdistan Region, to avoid prosecutions, according to the security forces (Asayish).
After obtaining intelligence information and surveilling his movements, the suspect was arrested last Monday by the Kurdish security forces at his residence in Halabaja.
