SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Political efforts should serve the public good and the people, Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) President Bafel Talabani on Tuesday stressed, according to a statement.
Earlier yesterday, Talabani received Darbaz Kosrat Rasoul, the administrator for the PUK politburo, in the Dabshan area of Sulaimani City, his office announced in a statement.
The two sides underlined the organizational affairs of the PUK, including the reorganization party structure, stressing expanding the coordination among the organs.
During the meeting, Talabani pointed out the duty and responsibility of the institutions belonging to the PUK.
“No matter what positions you are in within the PUK but you must act responsibly. All the efforts should serve the public good and the people,” He said, according to the statement.
He also stressed enhancing the abilities of the PUK cadres so that they can serve Kurdistan.
