SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) President Bafel Talabani on Tuesday announced that he will open a call center to answer citizens’ requests and complaints.

“Previously, I used to answer to answer citizens on my own phone in the evenings,” He said in a press conference.

“But my phone number went viral that is why I decided to open such a center,” He added.

“Anyone who wants to make a request or complaint will be answered does not require to be the PUK.”

Talabani also stated that he will work at the call center once a week to be aware of how things are working out, calling on citizens to not hesitate in making any requests or complaints.

“We accept every single call.”

He also added that they will answer calls related to bureaucracies’ failure in meeting citizens’ needs.

Talabani further called citizens to contact the call center if they felt grievance because of a PUK official or anyone who works at the party.

He also laid emphasis that the call center is non-partisan and far from any partisan affairs, according to his words.
