Iraqi Parliament votes for multiple social security bills

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Iraqi Council of Representatives is due to hold its regular session on Wednesday to vote for multiple bills relating to welfare and social security.

The agenda of the session released by the chamber has indicated that lawmakers are set to vote for the social care and workers’ pensions bills.

The bills are proposed and prepared by the labor, civil society organizations, finance, and legal committees of the legislative chamber.
