SULAIMANI (ESTA) — A Peshmerga officer was found dead with gunshot wounds on his body on Tuesday in Erbil province.
Earlier this morning the body of a 43-year-old Peshmerga officer was received by the hospital, a statement released by the Balisan Hospital of Erbil read.
The preliminary autopsy reports indicated the body had gunshot wounds.
The body has been transferred to Erbil forensic medicine to conduct further investigations, according to the statement.
The statement did not offer further details.
