Kurdistan CTG arrests suspect on terror-related charges

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Kurdistan Region Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG) on Sunday announced that it had arrested a suspect on terror-related charges in Sulaiamni province.

The Kurdistan CTG forces had conducted a joint operation with the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service (ICTS) in Bazian district east of Sulaimani province, a statement released by the CTG read.

During the operation, the CTG and ICTS were able to arrest a wanted suspect for committing terrorism charges.

“The suspect was handed to the judiciary for prosecution,” it said.
