SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) President on Tuesday evening joined the Iftar meal hosted by the Command of the Kurdistan Commando Forces.
Accompanied by the Secretary-General of the Unit 70 forces and the chief of the operation department in the Kurdistan Security Service including several party officials, Talabani has made a visit to the Kurdistan Commandos headquarters in Sulaimani.
During his visit, Talabani was welcomed by the Deputy Commander of the Commando’s command and highlighted the Commando’s daily routine and responsibilities.
Talabani expressed gratitude to Commandos forces for their commitment to maintaining their discipline as a well-organized force and endeavoring to improve their military capabilities.
Talabani later joined the Iftar meal with the Commando’s Peshmergas which was hosted by the forces’ command.
