Federal intelligence agency arrests four ‘dangerous’ suspects in Kirkuk

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Iraqi Security Media Cell on Wednesday announced that four “dangerous” suspects were arrested over terrorism charges in the oil-rich city of Kirkuk.

“Federal intelligence and investigation agency arrested four terrorists of which one of them was charged for supplying explosive bombs for terrorists,” a statement released by the Security media cell read.

It also noted that another of the arrested suspects is accused of taking a part in kidnaping and murdering truck drivers on the Kikruk-Tikrit motorway.

The statement further added that the remaining suspects are charged with supplying logistics for the Islamic State (ISIS) remnants.

All of the suspects were handed to the judiciary and faced legal prosecutions, according to the statement.
