Erbil police arrest two after fire exchange at private university

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — A fire exchange between students was reported at a university in the city of Erbil on Tuesday.

The incident took place at Erbil’s Knowledge Private University, where two students had an argument that later developed into using arms and shooting between them, a student under the condition of anonymity spoke to Esta Media Network said.

Police have arrived at the scene and arrested two students in relation to the incident, the student added.

The fire exchange was reportedly due to a personal dispute, although further details remain unclear.

The Knowledge University did not verify the incident.
