Sulaimani security forces arrest ISIS terrorist charged with ‘crimes against humanity’

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The security forces (Asayish) on Wednesday arrested an Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist who is charged with conducting several criminal acts.

The operation forces of the directorate of the security forces based on intelligence information arrested a terrorist charged with conducting several “crimes against humanity”, Asayish said in a statement.

Moreover, The Kurdistan’s Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG) last Monday said it arrested an ISIS terrorist in Sulaiamani’s Garmian administration following a special operation.

Disclosing details regarding the arrested terrorist by the CTG, it added that he was aged 40 years old and joined ISIS in 2020.

The CTG obtained a confession from the arrested terrorist, adding that he was involved in several terrorist acts in Hamrin Mountain.
