High-level PUK delegation visits Gorran ‘Change’ movement in Sulaimani

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — A high-level delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) on Monday visited Gorran ‘Change’ movement in Sulaimani.

The delegation was headed by Bafel Talabani, the President of the PUK, where they visited Gorran’s headquarters.

Talabani met with Omar Said Ali, the General-Coordinator of the ‘Change’ Movement, and several senior members of the movement.

In the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest political and economic changes in the Kurdistan Region, said a press release.

The two sides also placed emphasis on protecting unity and understanding for the sake of resolving the issues and overcoming the challenges.

In the meantime, they stressed bolstering the relations between the PUK and the ‘Change’ movement as well as accelerating the steps to address the problems in Baghdad in the frame of the constitution, securing a decent life for the people , the press release added.
