Director of Kurdistan Region’s Information agency receives Dutch Consul General

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Director of the Kurdistan Region’s Protection and Information/Information agency on Thursday received the Dutch Consul General to Erbil, Jaco Beerends.  

The Director of the agency, Jalal Sheikh Naji, and Beerends discussed the overall situation and the coordination between both sides as well as the unification of the Peshmerga forces, according to a statement from the agency.

Beerends was accompanied by a Dutch military delegation as well. They also shed light on combating the remnants of the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists, views were exchanged on that concern.

Sheikh Naji has extended words of gratitude to Beerends and his country for their mission in Iraq that they coordinated and supported the Peshmerga forces, and they are still continuing.

He also demanded the diplomat call his country to increase their support, particularly in the process of unification of the Peshmerga forces.

The two sides agreed to expand their coordination but in the framework of protecting the high objectives, they stressed that part, mainly to uproot the remnants of the ISIS
