SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Officials in the Parvez Khan, an Iraq-Iran international border crossing, on Monday said the decision of lifting the Iranian entry visa requirement on Iraqi travelers has gone into effect.
The Department of Media and Relations in the Parvez Khan border crossing, situated in Sulaimani’s Kalar said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran will remove the entry visa requirement for Iraqi travelers.”
“The decision has gone into effect in the Parvez Khan border crossing for the travelers enter Iran by land,” the Department in a statement said.
Referring to inter-Iraq and Iran truck drivers that transfer the “waste of oil” only from the Kurdistan Region, it added that “they can also transfer their loads without a need for the Iranian visa.”
Parvez Khan operatives, 24/7 are always available to assist Iraqi travelers, seeking to enter Iran. And holding a passport is the only condition to go through the procedures, according to the statement.
