Temperatures to drop as light dust wave comes: Kurdistan weather forecast

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The temperatures will edge to decrease as well as a light dust wave engulfs the region, said Kurdistan weather forecast on Saturday in a statement.

The general directorate of the Kurdistan Region metrology said, “the temperatures will down at least by one or two degrees on Sunday”.

“A light dust wave engulfs the region caused by increasing wind speed,” it said.

Currently, the Kurdistan Region is in the middle of summer which is the hottest and driest season in the region, the temperatures are usually around 40-45 degrees of Celsius, even in some areas higher than average.

Despite the high-temperature degrees, the second year of drought worsened the situation, causing difficulty for farmers and maintaining agriculture.
