SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Inside former Iraq’s president (Mam Jalal) palace in Baghdad President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Bafel Jalal Talabani has personally met the leader of the Babylon Movement Rayan al-Kildani as well as the head of the National Wisdom Movement Ammar al-Hakim on Friday.
Earlier an informed source told Esta Media Network that Talabani arrived in Baghdad to conduct a series of vital meetings regarding the formation of new Iraq governments and efforts to accelerate the process.
During the meeting with Kildani, “establishing a national service government was emphasized”, according to a statement published by Talabani’s media office.
“People deserve a stable and tranquilize life” Talabani explained to Kildani, adding that “our goal is forming a national, service and strong government with political parties in order to collectively secure a stable future for the people”.
In the meantime, Talabani also met the head of the National Wisdom Movement Ammar al-Hakim in the same location, and the latest steps towards the formation of the new government were discussed, as stated in the statement.
“efforts to pass Iraq’s political deadlock were discussed”, and “Hakim was paid tribute to Taliban’s efforts to bring the parties closer,” it said.
“PUK follows Mam Jalal’s wise policy, and this is what Iraq needs, and take the country to a healthy political situation,” Hakim told Talabani according to the statement.
In the meantime time, “Talabani stressed national compromise saying, PUK insists to solve all of the problems and forming a strong government that provides service for the all nations and minorities without discrimination” it added.
