SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Commander Mazloud Abdi met with U.S. Deputy Special Envoy David Brownstein in Rojava [Kurdish-controlled areas in northern Syria] on Sunday.
“We share a common vision of a future when all Syrians enjoy peace and freedom,” the SDF commander said in a tweet.
“We look forward to working together along side with all our Syrian brothers to overcome common challenges and achieve this goal.”
