SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani on Saturday paid a visit to Qatar to hold talks with senior officials.
In a statement, the Region’s presidency said Barzani had departed Kurdistan for Doha on an official visit to Qatar.
He will hold talks with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and a number of Qatari officials, the statement read.
Barzani will discuss relations between Qatar, the Kurdistan Region and Iraq as well as the latest developments in Iraq and the region, according to the statement.
