Japan foreign minister arrives in Iraq

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Japan’s foreign minister Toshimitsu Motegi arrived in Baghdad on Saturday, according to Iraqi media.

The Japanese diplomat will hold talks with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein, state news agency INA cited Iraq’s foreign ministry as saying.

It is still unclear whether Motegi would meet Iraqi President Barham Salih and Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi during his visit.
