Kurdistan president meets Jordan’s King Abdullah in Amman

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani on Wednesday met with Jordan’s King Abdullah II in Amman.

Barzani arrived in Amman on an official visit to hold talks with senior Jordanian officials.

The Region’s president said in a tweet that he discussed with King Abdullah bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and Jordan as well as economic cooperation and regional challenges.

“We value our deeply-rooted ties with Jordan and look forward to further strengthen them,” he added.
