Halabja Pomegranate Festival has started

SULAIMANI – (ESTA) Halabja Festival in Kurdistan Region began this morning with the participation of dozens of farmers and employers in the center of Halabja province.

The Halabja Festival is being held for the tenth consecutive year and is scheduled to last for three days.

In addition to displaying and selling pomegranates and their products, Kurdish handicrafts and dozens of local products will be sold to tourists.

Thousands of tourists from the Kurdistan Region, central and southern Iraqi cities are expected to flock to Halabja province during the three days of the festival.
