SULAIMANI – (ESTA) Qubad Talabani, the Supervisor of the General Secretariat of President Mam Jalal, visited Bngird district and Sharsteni village and held a public meeting.
In both meetings, Qubad Talabani talked about the difference between this election and past elections, as well as the difference between the current PUK and the past few years and said that “the PUK has reached the conviction that the current governance cannot continue and different regions and protect the historical achievements of our people by restoring hope and confidence to the people.”.
He explained that previously, “the PUK could not have a clear and transparent policy due to its divisions and multi-directionality and was weakened to such an extent that it did not have the necessary tools to change and serve the Kurdish people. However, in the past three years, under the leadership of Bafel Jalal Talabani, the PUK has been constantly reorganizing its internal affairs and strengthening itself.”.
Also, Qubad Talabani said, “The PUK wants to record a big victory in this election to correct the path of governance, end self-imposition and put the government and all institutions of governance at the service of the people.”.
At the end of his speech, he said that “just as the villages were the backbone of the PUK during the revolution, the current PUK has returned to the same path and looks to rely on the voice and will of the villagers and other sections of society. To move towards the great change that the Kurdish people have been waiting for and demanding for many years.”.
