SULAIMANI – (ESTA) UAE’s Dana Gas, the Middle East’s largest natural gas producer, said, “Our second-quarter profit rose 3 percent to 34 million dollars and our production from the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) gas fields was 37,600 barrels per day.”.
According to the company, the increase in profit in the second quarter of this year led to an increase in profit in the first half of this year, which had declined in the first quarter. The company posted a net profit of 72 million dollars for the first six months of this year.
“Thanks to the new funding mechanism from the KRG, we can now receive our payments from November 2023,” said Richard Hall, chief executive of Dana Gas.
